High pressure supplies late April warmth and sunshine.
A stretch of highs at or near 90 degrees starts this afternoon as a strong ridge of high pressure builds off the California coast. According to Meteorologist John Patrick, daytime highs will run 6-8 degrees above average through the middle of the upcoming work week.
A weak disturbance will offer up some small changes to the forecast a little later this week. By Thursday we’ll see an increase in some high cirrus clouds and a slight drop in temperatures.
